Renewing a flat roof on a converted block of flats

Our client approached us with a project in Chiswick where the existing flat roof to a converted block of flats had failed and was now causing high levels of water ingress to the flats below.

There were also concerns with ponding water on the flat roof and large amounts of heat loss during the winter months. 

Morgan Asphalte Co Ltd rectified all the above faults by removing the existing waterproof covering and defective timber substrate, increased the angle of the flat roof (Falls) to ensure of the free flow of rainwater, rigid insulation boards were installed to meet current building regulations, this now prevents heat loss through the roof followed by the application of a two layer asphalt system
